Allana was a player for Australia in Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana on the sidelines for some time before she made the transition back to league. Allana was the first to play in a women's rugby union game that was played in New South Wales as was the star of the match that was played against Queensland. Allana also has radio in her resume, making frequent appearances on 2GB's top-rated Continuous Call Team. Allana holds a professional teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson holds the rare honor of representing Australia in three sports, rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' most popular rugby player must end her league career due to tear her ACL 4 times. Ferguson, 25, has tore her ACL the same leg at the age of 15-17 and at 20. After the fourth tear she realized that it was now the right time to end her career. Ferguson played the role of JILLAROOS team's lead player. She had to resign due to her 4th ACL left knee injury. Ferguson suffered an injury in November at a session of training. The Courier Mail confirmed that the news came earlier this week. Ferguson has been the woman's representative in the women's league for the past couple of seasons.
